What started off as a simple 3D printed gift for a friend, Claudia Ng's first planter became the founding Succulent Monster. Shortly after she posted her design online, she began to collect internet fame for her work. With her first monster, she got a ton of traction on Tumblr, Reddit, Pinterest, and online blogs. After seeing how her Succulent Monster had created so much happiness, she was inspired to develop more creatures. This last year, Claudia sold Succulent Monsters to not only support her hobby, but to also raise thousands of dollars for charity.
Succulent Monsters are intended to add a dash of green on your desk and a bit of delight in your day. Each one is 3D printed, including the porcelain ones. If you ever have any questions about 3D printing, Claudia would be more than happy to speak at length with you.
Succulent Monsters is run by Allen Wang and Claudia Ng. They have been married for 3 years and had their first child on March 12, 2016. Here is a gif of them dancing with their Succulent Monsters at a recent convention.
